BREW GROUP CLEANING CYCLE

To wash the Brew Group, simply clean with water as shown on page 40. This wash completes the maintenance process of the Brew Group. We

recommend that you carry out this cycle on a monthly basis or every 500 co ee brewings by using the Saeco tablets, which can be purchased

separately at your local dealer, at the Philips on-line shop at http://shop.philips.com or at authorised service centres.

WASH CYCLES CANNOT BE STOPPED. DO NOT LEAVE THE MACHINE UNATTENDED DURING THIS OPERATION.

Turn the SBS dial all the way to the left, counter-clockwise, (see page 11) before starting the cycle.

MENU -> MACHINE MENU -> MAINTENANCE

Select the menu option.

Press the "OK" button to con rm.

After placing the container, press the

"OK" button.

At the end of the cycle, remove the

container and empty it appropriately.

Press the "OK" button to con rm.

After inserting the tablet, press the "OK"

button.

The cleaning cycle for the brew group is

performed automatically.

Insert the cleaning tablet into the bypass

doser.

Place a container under the co ee

dispensing spout.

After the cycle, set the SBS dial to the desired position (see page 8).

Clean the brew group as described in the "Brew Group Cleaning" section (see page 40).

Fill the water tank with fresh drinking

water up to the "MAX" level. Then, press

the "OK" button.
