Using the On-screen Submenus: Sound

Y;eysu may have noticed the peaks and val-

gram changes or at commercial breaks. The

volume levels often vary considerably. By

turning on the AVL (Audio Volume Levele 0

control, you can make your TVproduce a

more consistent volume level. Follow these

steps to turn the AVL control on.

Press the MENU/SELECT button

on the remote control to show the on-

screen fflenu.

Press the CURSOR RING DOWN

once to highlight SOUND.

Press the CURSOR RING RIGHT

to enter the SOUND subinenu.

Press the CURSOR RING DOWN

repeatedly until AVL is highlighted.

Then press the CURSOR RING

RIGHT or LEFT to turnAVL ON or

OFE

Press the STATUS/EXIT button to

exit the menu.
